The item that I chose to make as an emoji is a pickleball with a racket. The reason why I chose this item to make an emoji out of it is because I want this emoji to represent a hobby that I am recently interested in. This sport became popular as of recent because of the social aspect. To explain why the social aspect is the reason this sport became popular has to do with its accessibility since this sport can be played by anyone of any age regardless of skill level, which is the exact reason why this sport gained the large following it deserves. Florida is considered to be the state in which this sports is the most popular. I feel like this emoji that I created would be ideal to represent this growing community of pickleball enthusiasts.
